    Brookside Academy: Level 4 Site School

    Our goal is to provide an environment that meets the unique needs of our students in a setting that allows EVERY student to learn and grow.

    K-12 Program. Age groups segmented and separated within the building. Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports is the foundation of our programming. Aligned curriculum with C-I schools to support rigor and re-integration to mainstream. Class sizes between 4-10 students. Full gymnasium, weight room, and playground. Mental Health supports and trauma informed care (social worker and Lighthouse available), PAES lab. Academic Behavior Manager in every room to support a 2:1 student to staff ration.   • Early Childhood Programs

    Early Childhood is a broad term used to describe programming for families & their children ages birth to kindergarten entrance. Early Childhood can include ECFE (classes that parent & child attend together), Preschool (child attends on their own), School Readiness (a tuition assistance program for preschool), Early Childhood Screening (the Minnesota required screening that every child must have before entering Kindergarten). It can also include Early Childhood Special Education, where services are provided for children ages birth to kindergarten entrance for any special needs that have been identified. At Cambridge-Isanti we use the term “Early Childhood” to refer to all of our programs, like an umbrella.

    We educate students from birth through 2nd grade at IPS. We have a dedicated staff that are committed to meet our vision and mission each day. Our vision at Isanti Primary is, We teach and value our children as if they are our own. Our entire building is focused on helping each child be outstanding citizens with our focus on the 5 Character Traits that include respect, responsibility, compassion, honesty, and self-discipline.     Cambridge-Isanti Schools Online is pleased to be serving the students of Cambridge-Isanti Schools. The development of this online option was a result of the strategic planning that took place in 2015. The district mission states:

    Online education is an innovative approach to education that offers students flexibility and control of the where and when they learn.

    The options that students have online are unlimited due to fewer constraints related to time, space, and location.

  • Riverside Academy

    The Riverside Academy - High School Program is designed to meet the needs of diverse learners by providing flexible scheduling, a safe student-centered environment, challenging curriculum and student designed programming. Riverside Academy - High School offers 10th through 12th grade students an opportunity to earn credits toward a high school diploma from their resident district. The delivery method choices are seat-based, independent study (for students 16 years and older) or a combination of both.

  • Rum River South: Special Education Cooperative

    Rum River South Education Programs are a part of continuum of services for youth within the Rum River Special Education Cooperative with significant behavioral needs. The programs are operated through joint power agreements between the RRSEC and the Member Districts.

    Case managers and support staff in the Education Programs seek to stabilize the student's behavior and build the skills they will need for reintegration back into his/her home district. If the student makes sufficient progress in the areas of behavioral self control as well as academic and social progress, transition for partial day reintegration can begin. Criteria for reintegration is established by the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team.
