The culture of an organization is inseparable from the quality of care it provides, shaped by every interaction between those internal (e.g., board members, staff, volunteers) and outside (e.g., partners, community members) the organization. This course explores the dynamics of organizational culture, including the development of subcultures and their impact on team performance. Participants will explore how deeply held beliefs, values, and everyday actions influence organizational effectiveness and how inconsistencies between them present opportunities for growth. Participants will learn how to recognize each interaction as an opportunity to shape and reinforce positive cultural change. Aligned with trauma-informed principles, this course supports leaders and teams in building an intentional culture to achieve their mission and goals.
