The presentation will focus on the importance of youth engagement in child/family serving organizations, as well as highlight strategies and best practices to engage youth.

Objectives

  1. Participants will develop an understanding of the importance of youth voice/lived expertise to inform policy and practice decisions.

  2. Participants will develop strategies to implement youth voice/lived expertise.

  3. Participants will learn from young adults on specific strategies to use to successfully life up lived experts.
